Faster, Higher
susan pui san lok

A unique record of lok’s multi screen installation, ‘Faster, Higher’, commissioned to coincide with the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
Continuing the artist’s ongoing exploration of the themes of nostalgia and aspiration (frequently articulated through her skilful and evocative deployment opf archive material), this publication encourages the reader to go further and deeper into its subject. Richly illustrated throughout with archive images, screen shots and installation photographers, the book also presents an incisive commentary upon lok’s work, with specially commissioned essays by the critics Adrian Rifkin and Chris Berry.
