A series of small-scale digital art works designed to appear as interventions on participating sites on the Internet. Works by George Barber, Sonia Boyce, Adam Chodzko, Rory Hamilton, Janice Kerbel, Lucy Kimbell, Erika Tan, Jake Tilson, Thomson & Craighead.

An initial series of eight newly commisioned pieces went online at selected host sites between November 2000 and October 2001, with each intervention manigesting itself in a surprising and distinctive way.

In some instances, a downloadable video, audio or text file was secreed or embedded on the site itself.

In others, a specifically created link or window on the host site directed users to a webpage containing the artist's work. In otheres, the conceptual nature of work emerged from the evolving relationship between artwork and host, continuing a tradition of artists' interventions im public space and extending that model to enco pass the vast digital arena of the internet.
