Texts by Paul Morley, Steven Bode and Michael Connor An introduction to the work of New York artist, Cory Arcangel, highlighting his innovations with digital technology and his experiments with sound, this publication, produced in collaboration with leading design duo Dexter Sinister, features texts by writer and music critic Paul Morley, and curator Steven Bode, and an interview/Q&A between Arcangel and curator Michael Connor.
The book is released to coincide with Arcangel's new project, a couple thousand short films about Glenn Gould, a two screen video installation in which the artist has arranged selected sections of Johann Sebastian Bach's 1741 composition The Goldberg Variations (BWV 988) for the massed ranks of hundreds of online amateur instrumentalists.
