Steven Bode and Sophie Howarth. Interview by Simon Willmoth Decoy consists of a series of digital paintings in which subtly evolving fractal landscapes are combined with photographic images of the views of the grounds of various National Trust properties. This book reflects on the politics of landscape, construction and ownership and draws heavily on works by painters such as Gainsborough and Poussin as well as the landscape designers Humphrey Repton and 'Capability' Brown.
