‘Sea Fever: From Turner to Today’ Group Show with AK Dolven
AK Dolven was commissioned by Film and Video Umbrella in 2001 to make ‘It Could Happen To You’. Dolven is currently exhibiting at Southampton City Art Gallery as part of ‘Sea Fever’, a major exhibition exploring the subject of sea in art from the 18th century through to the present day. Until 5 September 2010.
Breda Beban’s ‘My Funeral Song’ at Camden Arts Centre
In 2002 Film and Video Umbrella commissioned Breda Beban to make ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’. Her most recent work at Camden Arts Centre is a five-screen video installation where each screen focuses on one of Beban’s close friends as they listen to the song they would like to have played at their funeral. Until 5 September 2010.
