‘Louis Ghost Chair’ focuses on the Louis XV armchair in this work which continues a line of engaging and disarming moving-image works by Simon Martin that meditate on particular moments and directions in art and design history. Now open at the Holburne Museum in Bath until 15 April 2012.
This new publication revolves around two key works by Shona Illingworth, ‘The Watch Man’ and ‘Balnakiel’. The book investigates themes of memory, history and place, and features texts by Professor Martin A. Conway, Dr Caterina Albano, Jill Bennett and Steven Bode.

A stand-out work from his recent solo exhibition at Dundee Contemporary Arts, ‘Father’s Monocle’ features a sweeping numerical pattern pulled into focus by a rotating lens at random intervals. Lauschmann will be showing this alongside other works at AV Festival from March.
