The Jerwood/FVU Awards are major initiative for moving-image artists in the first five years of their practice. The fifth edition of the awards is called Unintended Consequences and is open to applicants 14 February - 4 April 2017. 

Artists interested in submitting an application for the awards are invited to book a one-to-one appointment with Steven Bode, Director, FVU; or Sarah Williams, Head of Programme, Jerwood Visual Arts. Both are able to answer questions about the selection process, the curatorial theme, and general questions about the application form, as well as the commissioning, production and exhibition process and what will be required from you should you be successful with your application.

Sarah and Steven will not be able to read draft applications during these sessions, but are happy to comment on verbal summaries of proposed applications, as well as to answer specific questions in relation to them.

These appointments are free to attend but places are very limited. Booking in advance is required. For information about the available slots, please email:
