This exhibition forms the second stage in a three-part project commissioned by FVU for the centenary of the First World War.

In this staging at Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, the Wilsons' latest film We Put the World Before You will debut alongside their 2014 commission Undead Sun. Together the films provide an illustrative examination of the technological and social impacts of the First World War, which continue in their relevance today.

The work and stagings have been made possible through partnerships with IWM (Imperial War Museums), Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art and Wolverhampton Art Gallery and support from Wellcome Trust, Artliner and Arts Council England.
