FVU commissioned DOUG in 2012 in the form of a blog as part of the project 'Our Mutual Friends'. 

The Common Guild have recently commissioned a new musical element to the work that chronicles a continuous stream of nine catastrophic events endured by the fictional character. 

‘DOUG’ will be presented as a one-off performance in the magnificent Jeffrey Room at the Mitchell Library.
