Giants' Anatomy envisions a speculative journey for decommissioned North Sea oil platforms through this liminal landscape, combining real world footage with computer-generated Imagery to explore their potential afterlife.

We are delighted to announce that our FVU New Takes cohort features Anna Engelhardt, Jameisha Prescod, Hantao Li, Lucy Rose Shaftain-Fenner, Morisha Moodley, and Mahdy Abo Bahat.

From the 28 February, each month FVU New Takes will showcase a newly commissioned work in Arnolfini’s Dark Studio on Level 2. Ahead of the presentations at Arnolfini, each of the six works will be made available for free on FVU Watch – starting from the 28 January 2026.

•~TUA~• 大眼 •~MAK~• is an ambitious multimedia installation at Tramway, Glasgow by artist Rae-Yen Song 宋瑞渊 that evokes a sub-aquatic world shaped according to the ancestral logics of the Song family, which serves simultaneously as spectacle, memorial and refuge. The exhibition features new moving image works commissioned by Film and Video Umbrella.
